New Cancellation Policy:Amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, I have modified my cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all my clients. I hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, I understand and request that you please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no cancellation fees. Only for no-shows there will be 100% charge.
New Booking Policy:Due to COVID-19, I am temporarily limiting the number of daily appointments I take to 2 appointments a day. I will also space each appointment out with a buffer of an hour instead of the 30 minutes. The health and safety of my clients is very important to me. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, shortness of breath, recent loss of sense of smell or taste, unexplained soreness on soles of feet or on toes. Also any allergy symptoms - please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic.
If you have been to a COVID-19-impacted area and have traveled outside of MA and/or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, I ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact. Please note, we are requesting that clients wear face coverings when they arrive for their appointments.
New Protocols for Studio Massage:Upon Arriving to the building you will be required to wear a face covering also please stop at restroom to wash hands for 20 seconds as recommended by the CDC. Entering my studio you will be asked to hang up your coat before you enter the treatment room. Also please apply hand sanitizer before entering into treatment room. There is a updated client waiver that will need to be reviewed and signed (print this out from theconfirmation email and bring with you) and there will be a series of questions to be asked prior to your massage, You will be asked to give a verbal answer. Please sanitize hands before entering treatment room, this will be supplied to you. Also please sanitize you’re hands before leaving.
All clients (both new and current) will need to fill out theupdated Health History Form and the updated Waiver. again please bring with you filled out. TY
Both Massage therapist and client will be required to wear a mask for the duration of the massage. Massage Therapist additional protocols are Apron, Glasses and Mask and I also take my temperature daily. There is an hour in between appointments to thoroughly clean and disinfect. Also I have added a new payment system. Note: cash check or charge still remain the payment options.
I have added a HEPA Air Purifier to my treatment room.
AT THIS TIME THERE WILL BE NO FACE MASSAGES, will update this protocol in the near future.
I have always been committed to providing a clean and safe studio environment. During the COVID-19 crisis I stay committed and have reinforced those steps and also have added additional measures as noted above.
We know that massage can help relieve tension in the muscles and increase blood flow and promote relaxation. Also during this highly stressful time massage has been found to help relieve the physical symptoms associated with depression, anxiety and stress.
